This telephone facilities communication between the controller and the way station on 4-Wire basis. It consists of an aesthetical designed telephone cabinet which houses the required circuitry to interface with the 4 Wire Way Station Equipment. It employs dynamic capsules for the transmitter and the receiver for long life and speech clarity. The handset is provided with a PTT switch to activate the Transmit circuitry in the way station equipment whenever the station master is speaking to the controller.

Whenever the controller calls the way station a piezo buzzer sounds in the telephone and also activates a flashing LED indication on the telephone. The LED on the telephone keeps on flashing until the handset is lifted. The telephone is made of unbreakable ABS plastic for easy maintenance and long life.
