This telephone is meant for providing communication between the Station Master at a way side station and the Train Traffic Controller at a Divisional Office.
This telephone is meant for providing communication between the Station Master at a way side station and the Train Traffic Controller at a Divisional Office. It works on 2 Wire overhead alignment communication line with a 3 - 12V battery supply.
The telephone is housed in an aesthetic ABS plastic cabinet and employs dynamic transducers for the transmitter and receiver capsules for speech clarity and long life. The send and receive efficiencies have been enhanced to a great extent to provide good audibility over long distances. The insertion loss is held very low to facilitate connection of several telephones in parallel along the way stations.
