This is meant to be connected at the Way Side Stations working on DTMF signaling on 4 Wire Omni bus circuits. It consists of a DTMF Receiver, Trans and Receive Speech circuits, Station Code, Group Call Select DIP switches and associated Logic Circuitry. The equipment is housed in a metal cabinet. Whenever a way station is called the piezo buzzer is activated along with a latched Flashing LED indication on the telephone, connected to the equipment. Simultaneously a ring back tone is sent to the controller.
Each way station is assigned a 2 digit station code. It is possible to assign station codes from 01 to 99. Two DIP switches are provided to set the code. To receive a group code from controller, a separate DIP switch is provided.
The gain of the Trans and Receive lines can be set to the desired level by means of trim-pots provided on the PCB.
The equipment works on 12 V DC Power supply. A 12V Power Supply Unit with built in charger and battery monitor and Maintenance-free battery pack can also be provided (optional).
