Universal Way Side DTMF Control Telephone is used to facilitate communication between a train controller and way side stations in both 2 wire & 4 wire areas. It is housed inside a desk type telephone cabinet. It consists of a DTMF Receiver, Code Setting and Group Call DIP switches and associated logic circuitry. Whenever a way station is called a piezo buzzer along with a flashing LED get activated and a ring back tone is sent to controller. Each way station is assigned a 2 digit code. It is possible to assign station codes from 01 to 99. 2Wire/4Wire operation is selectable with a link. The equipment works on 12 V DC Power supply. A suitable Maintenance free battery along with charger can be provided on request (optional).
