It is intended to provide stable 12 V D.C. Power to a Signal Post (Master) Telephone Unit along with automatic battery backup during power failure.
It is intended to provide stable 12 V D.C. Power to a Signal Post (Master) Telephone Unit along with automatic battery backup during power failure. It works off 220V mains and charges the battery using a constant voltage current limited mode of charging. A maintenance free sealed battery is housed inside the charger unit. Whenever there is a power interruption it is immediately detected and the internal battery is brought into circuit, hence it can provide uninterrupted DC power without any external con¬nections.
The back panel carries the DC and AC fuses along with the DC outlet. A switch is provided to cut off the battery from the circuit when the charger is not in use.
