Power supply unit is intended to provide un-interrupted 12V DC power to the DTMF Control Room equipment. It has a built in charger unit along with a 12 V / 7AhR Maintenance Free Battery.
Power supply unit is intended to provide un-interrupted 12V DC power to the DTMF Control Room equipment. It has a built in charger unit along with a 12 V / 7AhR Maintenance Free Battery. A low battery alarm is also incorporated in the unit. The power supply can provide backup power to a DTMF Control Office Equipment for about 15 hrs.
The power supply works from 220 V mains and can charge a 12V battery inside. The charging is automatically reduced as soon the battery is fully charged in order to prevent overcharging. If the battery voltage falls below 11.5 Volts an audio alarm comes ON along with a flashing LED indication to attract attention of the maintenance staff. Fuses are provided on both the AC and DC paths to prevent short circuits.
