This is specifically designed to enable operation of the control where both 4 wire and 2 wire working is required.
This is specifically designed to enable operation of the control where both 4 wire and 2 wire working is required. It can also be used wherever a 4 wire speech circuit is to be interfaced to a 2 wire circuit. It is housed in a metal cabinet with easily accessible controls. Built in trains and receive amplifiers in the equipment compensate for the losses in the hybrid conversion circuit. The receive and trains gains can be independently adjusted to suit the actual field condition.
A precision potentiometer is provided to adjust for minimum leak between the Trans and receive lines. Typical leak between the Trans and receive lines is about -25 dB. The equipment works in 12V DC supply.
